HappyDonors Integration via Zapier to Send Cards Automatically

HappyDonors cards can be sent automatically by using the Zapier.com app of our sister site, Thаnkster.com.  For example, every time someone donates a minimum amount, or every time you add a donor prospect with your Donor Relationship Management (DRM) software, a card can be sent automatically.  This way the ball is never dropped on this great form of donor outreach.

Connect any of hundreds of apps to Happy Donors to accomplish this in different ways. 

The automation you create in Zapier is called a “Zap”.  Here’s how you make one.  You can do Steps 1 and 2 at either Thаnkster.com or HappyDonors.net.  The app in Zapier (Step 3) is called Thаnkster though.

• STEP 1. Get a Happy Donors subscription.  This will give you an API key which will you’ll need for step 3, below.
• STEP 2. Create a project in Happy Donors which will serve as a template for the cards you send. Choose your cover design (or Contact Us to create one), a font, and any font adjustments.  Type your message here to be sure it fits (you will type it again in your Zap in step 3).  You will select this project when you create your Zap in step 3.
• STEP 3.  Create a Zapier account.  Then choose from one of our pre-made Zaps, which you can edit, or go to Make a Zap in Zapier.com and make one from scratch.  In either case, follow the steps as presented.  See this complete example, which sends a card whenever a new Salesforce lead is created.

Whenever the trigger occurs, a handwritten card will automaticallybe mailed.  You will be billed only for the cards you send.
